About QHF
The Quality Health Foundation (QHF) is the mission arm of Quality Health Strategies, a not-for-profit quality improvement organization with over 30 years of experience in conducting and evaluating health care quality improvement initiatives.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Quality Health Foundation is to improve the health of individuals and communities. To achieve this goal, we provide charitable grants to organizations that wish to undertake improvement projects. We prioritize funding based on a project's potential to impact access to and quality of healthcare and human services to individuals and communities. Projects should focus on improving outcomes through the use of collaborative approaches.
History
Delmarva Foundation has focused its efforts on services provided through public programs. Over the course of its 30 years of existence, Delmarva has seen breakthroughs in technology and technique continually advance care. However, it still witnesses large gaps between what is available and what is available to all. These gaps occur for several reasons, ranging from lack of services available in a particular area, to inability to pay, to systems that do not consistently promote providing the highest possible quality of care. As an organization committed to improving the health of all individuals, Delmarva Foundation felt that its duty was to help eliminate these disparities. To help achieve this goal, the Quality Health Foundation was founded.
