The Quality Health Foundation (QHF) is the mission arm of the Quality Health Strategies, a group of companies with more than 40 years of experience in conducting and evaluating health care quality improvement initiatives. Our mission is to improve the health status of individuals and communities. To achieve this goal, we provide charitable grants to organizations that wish to implement improvement projects. We prioritize funding based on a project’s potential to impact access to care and improve the quality of healthcare and human services provided to individuals and communities.
Quality Health Strategies and its predecessors have focused efforts on services provided through public programs. Over the course of the last 40 years we have seen breakthroughs in technology and technique continually advance care. However, we still witness large gaps between what is available and what is available to all. These gaps occur for several reasons, ranging from lack of services available in a particular area, to inability to pay, to systems that do not consistently promote providing the highest possible quality of care. As an organization committed to improving the health of all individuals, we believe that our duty is to help eliminate these disparities. Quality Health Foundation was founded to achieve this goal.
